SonRise Cares Ministry tries to meet the needs of those who are facing challenging times in their life by living out Galatians 6:10: “Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.”
This ministry involves coming alongside our church family in times of need by providing meals, transportation, visitation, and other needs.

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences: losing a loved one. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
Meets: Weekly – Most Wednesdays at 6:30pm during sessions

One of SonRise’s core values is PRAYER. We passionately seek God in prayer because prayer changes everything. We strongly encourage everyone to join a prayer group to see the difference it can make when we pray over others and ask them to pray over us.

Life Groups

Life Groups are SonRise’s version of small groups. All members of SonRise are encouraged to join a Life Group in order to:
  • Connect weekly through fellowship in a more intimate setting
  • Grow in faith through Bible study, prayer, and accountability
  • Share the gospel through missions together

SonRiders Motorcycle Ministry is a ministry for motorcycle enthusiasts of all ages. If you have a motorcycle and love to ride, we would love to have you join us.
Our purpose is to fellowship, plan rides, and participate in service opportunities. We desire to reach new people and share our love of Jesus.

Onsite Counselor

SonRise is proud to host licensed counselors from Lighthouse Counseling. Through counseling, they walk alongside you in the process of rising from frustration, anxiety, depression and hopelessness to developing a clear plan to a better life with tools learned in sessions.
They provide a safe and confidential environment in which to develop trust and confidence. They have a diverse staff willing to walk alongside you in whatever journey you are on.

Financial Benevolence

The mission of benevolence is to positively impact the lives of those experiencing financial difficulties through guidance and monetary assistance. 
Knowledge of basic personal finance principles
Evaluate requests for financial assistance
Discuss needs and details with the requestor
Coordinate with the finance manager on the transfer of funds
